GP ACADEMY

Learn how to ride the best road race training motorcycles in the world on our private track. Our GP School is equipped with a fleet of Ohvale motorcycles that are ready to take you around our 14-turn kart track confidently. School events are instructed by experienced riders who can transfer the knowledge and skill required to go fast safely. We provide instruction for all skill levels in a controlled environment that allows students quality seat time to improve their riding. We have courses for all riders, from novice to established riders looking to gain confidence and consistency.

INTRO TO ASPHALT

〉LEVEL 1

3-Hour course

  • Learn how to select proper size gear and how to wear gear properly
  • Discuss and review track rules, flag meanings and track etiquette
  • Safety information training
  • Learn the basics of motorcycle controls
  • Practice introductory stop/go exercises and gain confidence in basic operation of motorcycle
  • Begin making complete laps during
    on-track sessions
  • Review your riding in our classroom to make real
    time improvements in confidence and speed

TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL

  • Work on lines and flow of track
  • Fundamentals of braking zone and corner entry
  • Practice clutch starts
  • Learn when and how to shift gears safely
  • Begin to understand trail braking
  • Learn foot and body positions and understand how they affect handling
  • Work on decreasing lap times and increasing confidence to push to your next level

  • Advanced course for riders actively doing track days or club racing

KARTMOTO TRACK DETAILS

Our 5,000 square foot garage is under construction now and is located at KartMoto, a state-of-the-art karting track Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas. This track, perfect for karts or minibikes, adds the fun that we have at our home track is a great activity for the whole family.
